I too, longed to be in that club. Six years with the same agency and I chose to go it alone in the indy world. They might like to have a queer writer in their stable but in the end it doesn’t mean they will work for you or have the right connections. I love that you are blazing your own trail.

It gave me an insight into a world (publishing) that is totally foreign to me. I never knew it was this hard to get your work published. I identify with how you view things differently now that you are 70. I admire your ability to change course and not to depend on an “agent” to reach an audience. Bravo!
