For the past two days I’ve been working on a new essay for this newsletter—another installment in detailing the process of publishing a collection of essays. This one was going to be about receiving the page proofs, hiring a proofreader, how much I loved the layout and the elegant font (Kepler Standard Regular,) and how much I was disturbed by the title page and why. How then I used friends to gather enough gumption to say it wasn’t going to work. I was going to call this essay “EVERYTHING BUT THE COVER.”
I’ll will most likely still write this essay, but for now, let me interrupt the process to show off this gorgeous cover that just arrived in my inbox!
